MY Story

“Please change my name to Cindy!” I cried to my mother after coming home from preschool, where kids had made fun of my name. Apparently, I’d watched enough of The Brady Bunch to decide that Cindy was a normal, all-American girl’s name.

This coming from a kid with three imaginary friends. And my name was the bigger problem.

I still have a drawing of them.

As a kid, I spent a lot of time alone, building forts, writing, listening to music and making up worlds. I was quiet and observant, usually drawing something strange. There was plenty going on in my head.

Music videos and fashion editorials fascinated me, too. I wanted to understand how someone could take a feeling, a lyric or a symbol and make a whole world out of it.

I’m interested in humans’ inner worlds in much the same way. Their strengths, what they’re drawn to, the possibilities they haven’t considered yet. That’s where I start with the founders and business owners I work with. Knowing what you do for a living only tells me so much.

Sometimes the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to leave out are the most interesting place to begin. The unexpected interests, the quirks, the way we see something a little differently. I’m curious about what happens when we give those things more room in our work.

I help translate them into something tangible through light, color, setting and movement. Photographs and films that let someone else feel what you’ve been trying to put into words.

What it’s like to work together

We begin by defining your brand vision. Through conversation, references, and exploration, we clarify the feeling, story, and direction your brand needs to communicate visually.
Once the vision is clear, I translate it into a creative plan. This includes mood boards, locations, styling, visual references, and shot concepts that bring your brand story into focus.
From there we create the imagery and video content that support your brand. Every visual is guided by the strategy we defined together so the final result feels cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably yours.
